My teaching practice is rooted in the belief that music belongs to everyone. I strive to build trust with my students through curiosity, play, collaboration, and exploration.
Developing your skillset as a musician is just as valuable to me as using this art form for the purpose of self-discovery. Our time together will be both focused and fluid. We’ll work towards your goals, all the while cultivating your own personal relationship with music.
My approach is based off a diverse and vibrant 20 years of formal music education along with over a decade of teaching experience. For the past 5 years, I’ve worked daily with students who have both physical and developmental disabilities — my priorities always being accessibility and nurturing an inclusive environment.
I sincerely hope the music we create together is something you can continue to carry with you, that it brings you closer to yourself, and that it enriches your connection with the world around you.
